The fire in your eyes when you looked at me

The tulips that shown when the sun bounced against them

My smile when you told me you loved me

Red.

The flames in my heart when I heard you say my name

The way that your fingers danced across my skin

The feeling of your arms wrapped around me

Red.

Your wrist gripping against mine, pulling me closer

My cheeks every time you called me beautiful

My lips every time you kissed me

Red.

The fire in your eyes when your anger possessed you

The tulips that drooped when the sun disappeared behind the clouds

Your persistence every time you told me you loved me

Red.

The disgust that dripped from your voice every time you said my name

The fear that gripped me every time you touched me

Cowering every time I felt your hands around me

Red.

My irritated wrists every time you forced me near you

My cheeks, stained with tears

My lips finally uttering goodbye

Red.

Everything was red

So much that it blinded me.
