As classes have been postponed and Trump is telling us that we should not gather in groups of more than ten people, I think it's a good time to focus on the positives of Covid-19. Especially since Chick-fil-a has gone to drive thru and pick up only!
Quarantine
- A quarantine would allow us to accomplish so much. Especially if there is a mandatory two week shut down. It would provide the perfect opportunity to catch up on sleep or binge watch Gilmore Girls for the eighth time. Or if you have a bad habit of buying books when you know there is already a stack waiting to be read at home, then now is the perfect time to read them. If you have been wanting to start a bullet journal and didn't have the time before, then sit down and start journaling! It is a great way to pass time. A quarantine also gives you the chance to have a much needed spa day or if it is warm enough, go outside and get a head start on your summer tan.
Social Distancing
- This is a blessing in disguise for introverts. If you are anything like me, then the constant buzzing of going from school, work, the gym, and home can be very draining. At the end of the day I usually end up in my room, attempting to recharge before I have to go do it all over again tomorrow. With school being moved online and the encouragement of social distancing, Covid-19 is giving an introvert something important… solitude.
Excessive Hand Washing
- This is one thing that should be a big positive. With all of the pushing for you to wash your hands, you can worry less about the food you are being served at restaurants. Even better, you don't have to nag your boyfriend about washing his hands anymore. There are also some cool tunes you can use to make sure you are washing your hands for the full twenty seconds. Songs like Love on Top by Beyonce, Toxic by Britney Spears, and Stayin Alive by the Bee Gees.
