Don’t trust a quiet machine, turn your volume all the way up.

I'm really not sure why they thought this but whenever you did win something, everyone knows because your machine is screaming!

The ones closest to the entrance usually pay out really well.

Both of my aunts spent about an hour and a half at the first two machines when you walk in, they did decently well but I'm not sure this helpful hint worked for us on Monday.

Take your card and cash out of the machine, wait a few minutes, and put it back in.

They think the machine will think it's a new person and hopefully pay out all the money you just put in.

Make sure you know whether you’re playing a 1¢ or a $5 machine.

My grandma remembered this the hard way, she put in a $50 bill to a machine, pulled it once and it took all of her money. We think it was a $25 machine. Needless to say, she was pretty mad.

Hitting a bonus is one of the most exciting things to do because bonus = MONEY! Both of my aunts and I played 3 machines next to each other and we were all hoopin and hollerin when we would hit the bonus wheel!

Whether or not these tips worked, I had a blast learning how to play and spending time with my crazy family. 10/10 would definitely go again and hopefully soon!

7. If you say you will be home at a certain time, you better be home at that time.

8. Seeing a missed call from your parents sends fear and horror through your veins.

9. If relatives are coming over to the house, your room better be clean.

10. You are careful about what jokes you share with your parents.

11. "You’re not an adult until you turn 18! You can do whatever you want then!"

12. If plans change while you’re out, you better text or call.

13. Don’t talk back. Ever.

14. When you’re called by your full name, you’re in deep trouble.
