35 Songs To Help You Relive Your Bad Ass Emo Phase

Last Thursday, I was sitting at my kitchen counter getting some stuff done for school with my Spotify songs on shuffle when Sleeping with Sirens suddenly started blaring full blast in my ears. Realizing that I hadn't listened to it in years, I took a much needed break from my homework to dive deeper into my music library for more throwbacks. MCR, Weezer, Rage, Pierce the Veil, and Paramore circa 2007 followed up, and over course of a solid hour or so, I head-banged right there in my living room, alone, with my cat staring up at me all buggy-eyed. (Thank goodness for the invention of wireless earphones.) It was deeply refreshing to shake off some pent up energy and relive the glory days -- so much so that I wanted to share the feeling with you guys.

Whether you've outgrown your punk kid days or you're still in the thick of it, this list of some old gems will get your head swingin'. Maybe you already know and love many of these, or maybe you've never heard a single one. Either way, get ready to let your hair down and blow off some quarantine steam with these absolute bangers.
