As I write this, it is the night of November 10. Less than 48 hours after I found out the man I supported since last summer won the Presidency. This is a win for more than just Donald Trump and Mike Pence -- this is a win for the little guy.
I watched as state after state turned red. I watched as Donald Trump took Florida, which Mitt Romney lost in 2012. Then the entire Rust Belt turned red -- Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan all went for Trump.
After the election Donald Trump tweeted,
Such a beautiful and important evening! The forgotten man and woman will never be forgotten again. We will all come together as never before

Regular working class Americans are fed up with the way the system has beat down and alienated them, and they made their voices heard at the polls. Coal miners and steel workers, who have traditionally voted Democrat, could not be swayed to follow Hillary Clinton.
This was more than just an election between two candidates. One one side stood the mainstream media, political corruption, elitism, and career politics. On the other stood hope and change, a political outsider, a fight for the average American.
Donald Trump became the voice for those who felt like they did not have one. Blue collar workers especially are the backbone of our nation, and they have increasingly been ignored by the Democratic Party.
This victory signifies hope and change for millions of Americans, and I, for one, and beyond happy and excited to watch President Trump, along with a Republican House and Senate and the American people, make America great again.
