Here's Donald Trump's Stance On Immigration (At Least For Now, Maybe?)

Even though according to Pew Research the amount of illegal immigrants entering the country is less than the amount that are leaving, Donald Trump has made his immigration platform a huge selling point for his supporters. Oh he is going to build a wall, a BIG wall! A wall thats shiny, sexy, tall, formidable, and paid for by the Mexicans. Even though the Mexican government has repeatedly stated this would never happen, have no fear because Donald Trump is the second coming of Christ and he will get it done for you!

During the primaries, Trump was insistent that he would create a deportation force that would deport every single illegal immigrant from this country. Yes, he's going to make America so great by spending between $400 billion and $600 billion getting those damn illegals out of here! At a time when racial tension stirs between communities and police, at a time when radical terrorism and terrorist attacks are on the rise, we need to focus on the illegal immigrants because they are the real threat! (Well, technically they have a lower crime rate than Americans, but seriously trust Donald they are a huge threat to you). So everyone go out and vote to Make America Great Again with Donald Trump by building a wall and deporting those illegals!

Well, hold on a second, his stance has since changed on immigration. In order to Make America Great Again, Donald Trump is going to do what past presidents have done. He is going to deport criminals. Not all illegal immigrants. He told Hannity, “We want to follow the laws, you know, we have very strong laws in this country. And you know Bush, and even Obama, sends people back." You know, he's following in their footsteps, you know? Remember how he ripped on Jeb Bush and Rubio in the primaries for their "weak" stance on immigration? Well in an interview with Sean Hannity he presented a plan that is extremely similar to Bush and Rubio's proposed plans. He doesn't want to send back the immigrants who have lived here peacefully, and he doesn't want to break up families. He wants a "fair" and "firm" immigration plan. Seems reasonable to me! Especially since illegal immigrants are actually essential to our economy.

Hold on, I just realized there has been yet another change. You see, that was his ideal plan for a few hours, but Donald Trump seems to have changed his policy again. In an interview with Anderson Cooper he explains that what he previously said to Sean Hannity is not in fact what he is planning to do. Instead, everyone must be deported if they want to become citizens. Even the "good ones." The first thing he is going to do on his first day in office is deport the criminals (which, by the way, has been the policy on illegal immigration for decades throughout dozens of presidencies). And how about deporting the rest of the immigrants with a deportation force? Well that aspect is yet to be determined! Or should I say redetermined?

Don't you just love surprises and confusion when it comes to presidential candidates? It's titillating, makes the whole election so much more fun and unpredictable!

Vote for Donald Trump he will literally change nothing about immigration.

P.S. You know what seems like a better change to me? A path towards legalization that allows those who benefit our economy to pay their fair taxes and receive their fair rights.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
