The Presidential candidates of 2016 have been diving right into their rallies and respected campaigns for their shot of becoming the next President of the United States. While the other candidates are making names for themselves, there's one candidate in particular who's name has recently been compared to a certain German dictator from the early 20th century.
Recently in one of his rallies in Orlando, presidential candidate Donald Trump had his supporters raise their right arms into the air and take an oath to vote for him. Strangely enough, those right arms in the air seem to resemble another famous salute of the Nazi variety.
Trump tells the crowd in Orlando, "Don't forget you all raised your hand, you swore! Bad things happen if you don't live up to what you just did."Many anti Trump supporters were quick to point out the similarity of Trump's oath with Hitler's Nazi salute, calling Trump the "Next Hitler". Others compared the scene to a Nazi assembly back in 1939.
"If a presidential candidate is being compared to Hitler, then why would you vote for him in the first place?" a Montclair State University student comments. "I would never vote for that man."
Trump supporters, however, have been scoffing at the notion that Trump is the next Hitler, calling the entire concept "incredibly stupid and ridiculous", saying that Trump is far from being Hitler, and they most certainly are not Nazis.
"He seems the most qualified for the position." another student from Montclair State says. "He's no Hitler."
Despite the beliefs and labeling that Trump has gone through, he states that he's never heard of himself being compared to Adolf Hitler, and that he most definitely does not believe that his actions are in any way similar to the German dictator.
Pertaining to the upcoming election, there are two present groups that fall under this issue, and they are "Hail Trump!" or "Fail Trump!"
Which group will you join?
