Dear Donald Trump, From The Media

Dear Donald Trump, From The Media
CNN

Dear Donald Trump,

Why do you have to do this? Why do you have to tick the media off? Why do you have to get on our bad side? We are the front line between you and the public. Our very existence is what helps make your campaign possible, so why the blacklist? Someone writes one bad thing about you and suddenly they are not allowed comment or presence at your rallies? Do you realize how dumb that is?

Instead of seeing writers possibly warming up to you, you just give them a big shut out. How can these things be seen as bad, when they are facts? You often blame Hillary Clinton with not providing facts to the public, yet denying press coverage on your campaign is basically doing the same thing. Is it because it's facts that you don't want to be known as? Is it because you feel you are some holy effigy to be put on a pedestal and anyone who tries to knock you down is automatically wrong in your eyes?

Some people argue that this is your strategy, to get in the media without actually trying, but it's a stupid strategy - because like Aaron Burr, no one knows what you stand for. You have ranted about CNN not allowing live coverage on you, while being live on CNN. If you want to win this thing, you need to take your staffers' advice (whose job it is to advise you) and listen to it and apply it. If you can't even read from a teleprompter and stay on script, how can we expect you to stay on script with the supposed "strategy" to "make America great again?" Can we really trust you not to get America nuked because you can't shut your fat trap? I feel like the answer is no.

Please fix this hypocrisy before you try to fix America and "make it great again."

Sincerely,

The poor reporters of America who have to cover your sorry excuse of a "campaign."

*Please note that this is a satire piece of how an actual piece might rip Donald Trump to shreds. This is in no way a direct attack but rather how one could theoretically attack Donald Trump and his stances, the way he says he is being attacked.*

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
