Most of the country might be angry, but I'm not at all.

I am a nineteen-year-old female and I am glad Donald Trump is our president. Yes, I voted for him while all my other friends posted things on social media bashing him in every possible way. Do I agree with all the things he said during his campaign? No. But there are plenty of other reasons that make me glad he is now President Donald J. Trump.

1. Defund Planned Parenthood.

I am pro-life and defunding Planned Parenthood is an issue I am very passionate about. Videos have been released showing they are in fact corrupt and not at all for women. They do not offer mammograms and they get most of their profit comes from abortions. Their unjust ideas go all the way back to their founder, Marget Sanger. 100 years is too long for them to be open and it is the time that all of their doors close.

2. Replace Obama Care.

Obama's health care plan was a mess. Trump is planning on replacing it with Health Savings Accounts. This lets states control Medicaid and will help the 4,000 drugs awaiting FDA approval move faster.

3. Rebuild the military.

With the amount of terrorism in our world, our army can get all the help it can it. As someone who has veterans (thank you to all of them) in their family, I fully support our servicemen and women. It will protect the citizens of the United States.

4. End the Offshoring Act.

For those who don't know, this act allows companies to lay off their employees so that they can relocate. If Trump ends it, more jobs will come back to American citizens.

5. Find a replacement for Justice Scalia.

Due to the fact President Trump is Republican, he will choose a justice who shares his same views. This will be a win for those of use who are trying so hard to protect the rights of the unborn.

6. Limit the term length of members of Congress.

Let's be honest, those members are in there for a long time. It will help get new faces and new views into it.

Now is the time to accept the fact that he is president. No amount of rioting, posting negative posts on social media, or saying "He is not my president!" is going to change that. If you are a citizen of the United States of America, he is your president. If you are uncomfortable with that, then maybe too many people in this country have been stuck in their comfort zones. This country needs someone who is going to speak out regardless if it makes a person uncomfortable. It is about time someone like President Trump takes office. Here's to the next four years.

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
