Who needs boys?
As I've gotten older it seems everyone I know is either getting into new relationships, getting engaged, or getting married while I sit at home on Friday nights and binge watching Netflix with my dog. The situation is not one of the worst to be in. In my opinion, it is one of the best. Instead of dwelling on the fact that my weeks are without a special "date night" I'm going to list the positives of having a dog.
1. Dogs are always down to cuddle.
It doesn't matter what time of day.
2. You have the perfect co-pilot on every road trip.
Roll the windows down and turn on the tunes.
3. They're always happy when you come home.
If you leave for thirty minutes or a week, you will be missed greatly.
4. They won't mind when you're in the mood for a romcom.
Groaning and complaining isn't really their style.
5. You have the best exercise buddy.
Just by spelling the word walk you can get a reaction out of almost every dog.
6. There will be no complaints about your cooking.
Chances are they won't even taste it as they scarf it down.
7. There will always be someone ready to protect you.
Even if it is just from the innocent pizza guy.
8. Dogs don't mind what you look like in the morning.
Chances are they won't mind sleeping in either.
9. You will have someone who constantly enjoys your company.
Between all the treats and belly rubs your dog will never leave you.
