If you have a dog, you’re a dog mom. But you are only a dog mom if your dog is your child with the endless pictures to follow.

1. You talk to your dog like a child

Truly you have a conversation and you just know that your dog understands.

2. You are constantly concerned about your dog

What happens when you leave??

3. Your plans revolve around him or her

“Sorry can’t go out cause there is no one to watch my dog” which is a bonus cause it’s a good excuse to get out of plans you don’t want to have.

4. Spoiling your dog

Your dog wants a car ride? Consider it done!

5. You are your dog’s pet

You are their favorite person of all time.

6. You will have conversations with strangers about their dogs

And when they apologize, you won’t hear about it because you wish to know more about the pup.

7. You will have conversations with strangers about YOUR dog

You even pull out your phone to show one of many pictures of your pup.

8. Being greeted by your dog when you get home

Who is happier? You or your dog?

9. Your dog is your favorite person

Nothing is better than putting on a Netflix show and cuddling with your dog.

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
