You sleep around the dog not the other way around. If they shove you onto the far edge of the bed that's just where you’re sleeping from now on.

It hurts to leave them

All they have to do is make that face at you and immediately you feel guilty about leaving them... even if it is just to go get the mail.

They will get things they are not supposed to have

Clothes, shoes, human food, plastic bags, newspaper, paper towels, their own fur, you name it. Your dog has probably attempted to eat one if not all of the things on that list.

They can be so stupid

They do the dumbest things sometimes but it makes you laugh so its ok.

The face they give you when you have food

We all the face that our dogs give us when we have something they want. Mine literally puts his paw in your lap and asks for a taste.

The word WALK

When you say that magic word and the dog goes absolutely bananas.

Their fur is now part of your wardrobe

The fur is everywhere. If your wearing something nice you must avoid the dog at all times because your black pants are going to turn tan with the dogs fur.

When you step on their them

When you accidentally hurt them you break down apologizing holding and cuddling them. There is no worse feeling than hurting them.

They Love You

They love you unconditionally.

Dog moms are a special kind of person and if your a true dog mom you know all of the things above. Your dog is your life. Everything you do is to make them happy. The sharing of your bed, giving them your food, and most of all the love you smother them in.
