Do You Suffer From Insomnia?

Here's a riddle for you: What is something that takes you by night, but day takes you back, none suffers from having me, but you do from lack?

If you haven't guessed by now, the answer is sleep.

Lately, have you became someone who doesn't get much time to sleep? Are you someone who has obtained so many responsibilities that they simply don't have time to sleep? When you do get the chance to relax in bed, do you find it hard to fall asleep, even if you're tired, or even staying asleep? If you've answered yes to any of these questions, then you might being experiencing insomnia.

Here are some warning signs:

1. Difficulty falling asleep.

This might seem familiar if you are the type of person who will get tired, lay in bed, but scroll on social for another 3.5 hours. (Sadly me.)

2. Difficulty staying asleep.

When you do actually fall asleep at a decent time, but wake up at 3am just staring at the ceiling. But who wants to stare at a boring ceiling when you have a nice phone next to you? Good morning.

3. Useless Sleep.

I know it's weird but, have you ever fell asleep and woke up feeling more tired than you were before you even fell asleep? Like what of kind sleep would torture a person like that for?

4. Fatigue haunts you.

Throughout the day, you feel laggy. You don't want to be bothered. But do you ever?

5. Moody behaviors.

You're becoming more irritable and aggressive, and now you're friends are looking at like "Woah, dude".

Nonetheless, if you've been suffering from any of these symptoms of insomnia, talk to someone about it. Also, avoid naps so you can have the most amount of sleep possible at night, and remain asleep. While trying to go to sleep, turn off all lights, tvs, and refrain from using your phone.

In short: just sleep, you won't regret it.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
