Before the pandemic, it would be so much easier to buy the item instead of finding time in our busy lives to go through the actual recipe. Yeast or no yeast (as long as you have baking powder)! This is the recipe I used.

Cinnamon rolls

Giphy

Great for when you're craving cinnamon rolls and a little more bored than usual. Perfect for your first time using yeast!

Cookies

Giphy

I made peanut butter oatmeal cookies with some rolled oats I had. Here is the recipe I used.

Giphy

You just need five ingredients and is as easy as this recipe says.

Dinner rolls/biscuits

Giphy

Although these biscuits do require a bit of work, the end result will be worth it. If you're feeling fancy, add a twist to the recipe and make it a jalapeño and cheddar biscuit recipe.

Blondies

Giphy

Cousin to our good friend, the brownie, blondies taste just as good and for people who aren't huge fans of chocolate, perhaps they're even better.

Scones

Giphy

There are so many different scones that can be made; sweet or savory is up to you. Here is an easy guide to follow in order to make a basic scone but there are also options to add some variety if you so wish.

 French fries

Giphy

Potatoes and oil (to cook them in)! Though you may not need a recipe, if you're looking to make a "perfect" batch of french fries, follow this "Food Network" recipe.

 Chili

Giphy

A can of beans, some vegetables, and a bunch of spices! Here is the recipe, hopefully it doesn't end up like poor Kevin's.

 Rice pudding

Giphy

Rice, milk, cinnamon, and sugar! You can add raisins or any other type of fruit to your rice pudding if you're feeling fancy.
