10 Useful Face Masks Every Girl Needs To Try

In This Article:

There are so many cheap DIY face mask that can be created right in your kitchen. No need to go out and buy an expensive mask, when you can use ingredients you already have. Here are 10 effective face mask I receive from.

1. Brown sugar and honey!

For the first face mask all you will need is honey and honey. These two ingredients are helpful when it comes to moisturizing your face. It also helps exfoliate your skin, and get rid of any dead skin cells.

2. Egg Yolk and Lemon Juice!

I suggest mixing together just one egg yolk and about half of a lemon and mix the two together. On Pinterest, it's said that this face mask helps with anti-redness, but lemon juice can also help with brightening the skin. Just be careful with the amount of lemon juice you use.

3. Face Scrubs!

Not really a face mask but more of a face scrub is Vaseline and white sugar. The Vaseline will help moisturize the face, and of course the sugar helps get rid of dead skin cells. I suggest using this during cold weather.

4. Aloe Vera!!!!!

Make aloe vera your friend. Aloe vera can help moisturize skin, helpful reduce dark spots, and more. All you have to do is cut an aloe vera plant then spread all over your face and neck, and let sit for 20-30 minutes.

5. Apple Cider Vinegar!

ACV is also helpful, what I suggest is mixing ACV along Aztec Indian Clay Mask. Although the clay mask has to be bought, I have heard that it is very effective! Mixing the two and applying it to your face can help with drying out pimples, which helps them leave.

6. Coffee grounds and aloe vera!

Coffee grounds and aloe vera help a lot when it comes to dark circles and other dark marks. Grab a tablespoon of coffee grounds and aloe vera, mix, and apply. Make sure the coffee grounds are caffeinated to help the mask be more effective.

7. Eggs and honey!

According to Pinterest eggs and honey can help minimize your pore, which at times are very important because this can help with reducing acne.

8. Avocado!

The good ole avocado mask! Avocado helps with dry skin, and also helps promote vitamin A. Avocado has been used as a face mask for many years!

9. Coffee grounds and honey!

Coffee grounds and honey can help tighten and firm the face! I suggest this face mask if you are aging, and are starting to notice a big difference in your skin.

10. Let's stop doing this....

Not a face mask, but I just needed to throw this in here.... STOP PUTTING COCONUT OIL ON YOUR FACE! That's it.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week.
