Ah, the beauty of online shopping. No lines. No leaving your house. Everything magically appears on your front step and all you had to do was click a button- or so you think. What you may not know is that there are actually individuals that suffer from an addiction to online shipping. Yes, you heard that right. It can most definitely become an addiction and an easy one to develop at that.

Online shopping is almost too easy and to convenient to turn away from. There are millions of items that you can find online, most of which are exclusively available online, making the price of them become a little bit higher than usual. If you find yourself online shopping in bulk a couple of times every month, you may want to check out these 10 reasons why you should ~at least~ consider ditching that needy habit of yours.

1. Save money

Stack your savings! Save up for a new laptop, that purse you've been wanting, or a flight to Europe! The possibilities are endless. I know your favorite shop may be having a good sale, but trust me, you'll be thankful when you buy that Macbook Pro and are sitting pretty in Greece.

2. Recycle and Upcycle

Support your local thrift store and find a really unique piece while you're at it! You can also make your own version of a secondhand article too! It's a win-win. Save the Earth, people!

3. You End Up With More

With all of the sales that online stores have going on at once, it is very easy to buy way more that what you originally came to look for. In the end, you probably end up spending more than the one cute blouse you've been wanting.

4. Too Impulsive

Do those jeans just look fabulous on the model or do you think you really need them? With options like "Click To Pay" or just logging back into your account, it's all a little too spontaneous.

5. Return Policies Suck

It's just factual that online stores don't always have the best return policies. It can be complicated when you snag two tops by mistake and well, it costs you, literally.

6. You Can Wait To Buy It In Store

I get it, there's a thrill to online shopping that nothing compares to. But instead of spending $7.99 on shipping, you can instead buy the same top in store. So what if you need to wait until they have your size? Refer to #3 in case you need another reminder.

7. You Don't End Up Wearing The Clothes

The buy one, get one 50% off deals can be killers. But, let's be honest, are you really planning on wearing that funky jacket?

8. Sizing Is Off

There is really no way to tell if something is going to fit you right if you buy it online. I mean...you're not there in person to even touch it! Will a medium fit better than a large? Who knows?

9. Too Much Clutter

When you end up with 10 shirts, 8 bottoms, and 2 hats that you only wore one time but feel too guilty to give away then maybe it's time to exit out of the tab and watch some Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

10. Debt

Going over your monthly budget is very easy with the convenience of online shopping. This is especially true if you must resort to using your credit card just to not miss out on your favorite semi-annual sale. But really, is it worth seeing all those numbers on your monthly statement?

April Ludgate

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
