I have many obsessions.

Disney may be the biggest one.

Often, I find myself up late at night, searching for Disneyland photos, old and new. My favorite types are the retro ones from when the park was just opened in the 50s. It was a simpler time for Disney, the magic was fresh. It was also a scarier time...and it wasn't even Halloween. So let's take a look at one of past Disneyland's scariest components.

Okay, not so bad so far....I'm just happy that the human characters are actually played by humans now.

And this. This is where I began to lose it. How do we go from the cute and playful dopey to that...that thing. He looks like if we put Dopey in a microwave.

I don't necessarily have an issue with the Dumbo costume (they tried their best) but the clowns. That's the problem.

Pooh, you okay?

So excited for the new Purge movie.

And the main event! Walt Disney with his magical creations. The serial killer dubbed as the white rabbit and the man with a Mickey Mouse head. My favorite part is that Walt looks like he is debating his creations. And the girl doesn't know where she is.

A closer view of Mickey and Minnie. I'm sorry.

And Walt, with his terrible army. Pinocchio looks like he was just hit by thirteen semi-trucks, Donald is throwing it back, Pluto looks like he's falling apart at the seams, and Mickey and Minnie are worst than before? I'm not sure really. Walt isn't either.

I also think Dumbo is in the back?

It's even worse when they take off their heads.

This isn't even that old, but I have to talk about it.

So, Roger and Jessica Rabbit are toons, I get it. BUT, look at poor Jessica. Why can't she just be a human and call it a day? I am willing to bet a hundred dollars that there is no way that poor teen can breathe in that silicon mask.

Poor guy.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
