There is something about Disney that draws us back to my childhood. The overwhelming feeling of nostalgia is comforting to me in my hectic--but bland--adult life. One thing I know for certain is that no matter how old you grow, your love for Disney grows with you--and that is something only Disney lovers understand.

However, it takes a true Disney enthusiast to know exactly what things make your trip to Disney World, or Disneyland, worthwhile. Luckily, I have enough experience to pass that knowledge onto you!

1. Buying New Ears

Nothing defeats the joy of buying a new pair of Mickey/Minnie ears, especially when they from an Etsy seller. You can get practically any design or print you'd like! So many sellers make custom orders and love hearing new ideas. Plus, you have to admit that you love the compliments you get when you show them off on your next Magic Kingdom trip!

2. Theme Park Munchies

Any Disney enthusiast knows that when you're rushing from ride-to-ride, standing in line for hours for character meets and dropping dollars in retail stores, that you are bound to be starving not even halfway through the day. Bringing your own snacks to the park saves you money and time! However, make sure you do bring some cash because your day at the Happiest Place on Earth isn't complete without a Mickey pretzel!

3. FastPasses Save Lives

Nothing says you are a true expert until you schedule your FastPasses a month before your next Disney trip. You have first dibs on the best selection of fast passes for the rides that are always at least an hour wait! How else do you think we got on Avatar Flight of Passage so quickly?

4. Bring A Backpack

I will say it once, and I will say it again... you need a backpack if you're spending more than an hour or two at the park. My go-to packing list consists of sunscreen, chapstick, camera, portable charger, snacks, cash, a comfy hoodie and a reusable water bottle. How else would I carry that, and my souvenirs around all day?

5. Splurge On An Annual Pass

Let's face the facts: you love Disney and wish you could be there 24/7. Well, why can't you? Stop wasting money on buying 3-4 day tickets here and there. Splurge on one of the annual pass options and score free parking and discounts on merchandise. Not to mention, you can go on any date that doesn't fall during Disney's blackout dates!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
