When most people think of eating at Disney World the first foods that come to mind include churros, Mickey pretzels, and the infamous Mickey icecream. But what if I told you it is possible to go to Disney World and still eat healthy? Here is how to experience Disney World while on a diet.

Magic Kingdom

Pinnochio Village Haus

Here guests can choose between caprese flatbread, Mediterranean salad, chicken Cesar salad, and a tomato basil soup. These options are delicious, and the healthiest options on the menu.

Columbia Harbor House

Located in Liberty Square, here guests have a variety of healthy options to choose from. Harbor House offers foods such as hummus sandwiches, grilled salmon, and broccoli peppercorn salad.

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe

At first, this place looks as though it solely sells burgers and fries, but that is not true. Guests have to option to order a vegetarian burger, Greek salad, or (my personal favorite) the rotisserie chicken platter which comes with green beans and mashed potatoes.

Epcot

Electric Umbrella

This restaraunt offers an array of healthy food options, including vegan options for those interested. From beets and goat cheese salad to Vegan Korma and Dardein meal options, this is the perfect place to go if you are counting your calories.

Katsura Grill

Aside from the copious amounts of sushi options, there are other healthy items on the menu. Some of these items include Japanese curry rice and teriyaki chicken.

The Tangierine Cafe

Mediterranean food, in general, is super healthy for you (hence the diet). This place offers delicious hummus, wraps, couscous salad, and my favorite- tabouleh.

Animal Kingdom

Harambe Market

From grilled chicken skewers to watermelon salad, this market has everything you need to feel healthy and energized for a long day in the park.

Pizzafari

As unhealthy as pizza can be, this place allows healthier options. Guests can indulge in a chicken or shrimp Mediterranean flatbread that is sure to have them yelling like a happy hyena.

Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe

Guests can choose between healthy salad or sandwich options.

Hollywood Studios

ABC Commissary

Salad, soups, and sandwiches are some of the healthy options offered at ABC Commissary. Perk alert: apple slices can be substituted for french fries with most meal options.

Fairfax Fare

The Fairfax salad is the go to for any health-conscious individual. This salad is filled with tomato, roasted corn, sweet peppers, black beans, and chicken.

Min and Bill's Dockside Diner

The multiple sushi selections offered here with a side of edamame is sure to get you tingling with joy. A marinated tomato and cucumber salad is the side of choice.

What are you looking forward to trying on your next visit?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
