People who once used Disney tickets back in the day before everything became completely digital should be taking the time to look back and find those tickets. Especially if those tickets still have days on it. The old Walt Disney Tickets never expire. Which some people might think is crazy. Now Walt Disney World uses different ways to monitor their tickets from Magic Bands and My Disney Experience. The cost of the tickets and the joy of the parks probably wouldn’t make you want to lose one of your many days there, unless of course your sick and can’t go to the parks. Which was the case for 22-year-old Chelsea Herline.

Chelsea Herline had gone Walt Disney World when she was only four years old. But like most young kids easily get sick. She became very ill. She couldn’t attend her family last day in the park, this resulted in a loss of a day. Which now became Herline treasure. When her father had came across the ticket when cleaning. It didn’t have an expiration date on it. So she thought “What could happen if I tried it” and thats what she did.

She went to Walt Disney World and went to the ticket counter. Showing up with an old school ticket definitely threw off the girl who was working the desk. Herline mentioned in one of the interviews that the girl looked confused because she had been younger. Which makes you think, most people probably didn’t see a ticket like that. They haven’t looked like that in a very long time. Especially for employees working there now since everything is done through Magic Bands or Cards that have the ticket days. It crazy to think about that ticket and how it looked. Also how cheap it probably was back when her parents bought it. She literally had so many things going with this ticket that she had.

After the girl at the desk confused looks, she called her manger over. Her manger took a look at the ticket and realized that it was real. The Huffington Post who reported on this article says “Much to her surprise, the girl said yes and changed the paper ticket to a more modern electronic one”.

Once she was in the park she was by herself. Some might consider that every person dream. Which is entirely true. She was given a “1st Visit In Forever” button. She truly likes to embrace how incredibly magical Disney truly is. The Today Show reported on this by saying “I was there for about four hours, and I went on all the big reds from when I was little. I spent the whole day alone and sat by myself on every single ride”. That part is sad, but it is incredibly great that she got have this experience. She also saw the characters from her childhood. She truly knows that greatness in Disney.

Disney World shows the greatness that the Parks are suppose to represent when you hear stories like this. It is truly and will always be a magical place that greats memories and great stories everyday.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.

Life is full of twists and turns, but you have to keep going.

Life is all about twist and turns, sideways and which ways. Nothing is permanent, so we should take risks, and chase our dreams. We are taught at a young age many lessons that will follow us into adulthood. What we aren't taught is how to feel, and how we handle those emotions. We just have to figure them out ourselves, and that's not fun. In my 21 years of living, I have come to know that way too many people can't handle emotions, or the fact that not everyone is dead inside like them. When you're like me, and you have zero control over your emotions, it's hard to feel comfortable around people who aren't so in touch with themselves. As much as I would like to feel nothing at times, I've accepted who I am and the fact that I can cry over practically nothing. So, there are some things in life that you just have to do.
