Believe It Or Not, Disney World Is Way More Fun As An Adult Than It Was As A Kid

It is the happiest place on Earth.

Disney World is the ultimate theme park. Everyone loves Disney and everyone wants to experience Disney World, at the very least, once in their life.

It's enjoyable for each person in the family. There's a reason why parents get just as excited about this family vacation as their kids. Disney is a classic brand that literally every person has grown up with and holds dearly to their hearts, and Disney World (or Land) is suitable for literally all ages.

Disney World may be every child's dream theme park to visit for vacation, but it's even better when you're older. Eighteen years or older is the prime time to go to Disney World, trust me.

1. You will actually remember this trip compared to when you were a small child visiting Disney World.

False.

There's a new appreciation for this notorious theme park once you visit when you are grown up. The memories are fresh and you will be able to truly look back on this experience.

2. You get to re-live your childhood.

Giphy

Cue all the Disney movies and shows you grew up watching and playing with the toys. You still remember all the lyrics to the songs from Mulan and basically all the princess movies. And if you forgot a thing or two, you will be getting fond flashbacks at Disney World of your happiest memories.

3. You can truly enjoy all the rides (and wait times).

Giphy

When visiting Disney World as an adult, you must strategically plan all your fast passes and rides you want to hit. You use the My Disney Experience app to look at all the wait times at each park so when your trip comes, you are fully prepared to skip the longest lines and wait for the rides you sincerely wish to ride. As a child, you weren't tall enough for all the rides and even found some of them "too scary" or "too big". Basically, you stuck to the kid's area and rode Dumbo repeatedly, and even for a ride you really wanted to ride, you weren't willing to wait in that line in the Florida heat doing absolutely nothing. It wasn't worth it to you.

4. All of the food…

Giphy

Food is more cherished when you are above elementary grade age and that is a fact. You are actually willing to try all the Mickey Mouse shaped foods and desserts now. Epcot is heavenly for a foodie. Epcot wasn't your favorite park as a child, but now your new appreciation of food allows you to spend the whole day tasting foods from around the world. Who needs the other parks?

5. … and drinks!

Giphy

I know friends who have gone to Disney World for their 21st birthday instead of Vegas because of the multitudes of drinks you can try in this one location. Epcot doesn't only allow you to eat around the world, but drink around the world as well! Cheers!

6. Practical (and cute) souvenirs you’ll use and display in your home.

Anyone notice this famous tea set from another Disney film?

Giphy

My absolute favorite mug for tea, coffee and even milk is a princess themed one I bought at Disney last summer.

7. Disney World isn’t only for family vacations, but a friend’s trip as well.

Giphy

Everything is already planned, you spend quality bonding time waiting for rides, then you all get to share a Disney experience with tons of memories. My boyfriend and I clearly recall getting stuck on top of Splash Mountain twice in one ride and now laugh at it. The memories supplied Insta quality pics for the year! You now have the perfect "Happy Birthday" post picture queued up for each member in your friend group.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
