One of 2016’s highly anticipated movie premieres was undoubtedly Disney Pixar's, "Finding Dory.” The fact that it was released 13 years after its original, “Finding Nemo,” did play part of its appeal.

With Ellen DeGeneres reprising her role as Dory, the beloved forgetful blue tang, the film saw quite the bit of success. Among that success was becoming the new record holder for the largest debut for an animated film, which was previously held by DreamWorks Animation's, “Shrek the Third.” Throughout the celebration of its debut, DeGeneres adamantly stated there will be another film, "Finding Dory 3."

Over the next three years, the movie industry will be capitalizing on the "ten years later" trend. Production companies are creating and continuing franchises from movies that are a decade old, including both live action and animation projects. Especially popular among the companies, is no other than, Disney.

1. "Cars 3," June 16, 2017

Lightening McQueen (Owen Wilson) is back at it again, and this time he is trying to find his way back into the world of racing as he competes with the newer generation of cars in Disney Pixar's "Cars 3." It has been six years since the sequel and eleven since the original in 2006.

2. "Disenchanted," 2018

We first saw Gieselle (Amy Adams) back when she traveled the streets of New York after being banned from the world of Andalasia by the evil queen in Disney's 2007, "Enchanted." Eleven years later, we will once again see Gieselle as she questions her happiness, and in turn affecting lives in both the real world and Andalasia in "Disenchanted."

3. "Toy Story 4," June 15, 2018

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen team up again as Woody and Buzz as they go on yet another adventure in the fourth installment of Disney Pixar's "Toy Story" franchise. When it premieres in June, it will have been eight years since the third movie and a grand total of twenty-three since Woody met Buzz back in 1995.

4. "Mary Poppins Return," December 25, 2018

It has been fifty-two years since Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke portrayed the iconic super nanny and chimney sweep. Given two more years and we will once again see Mary Poppins and Bert on the big screen, however, this time under different talent. Unsure of Bert, but Mary Poppins will be portrayed by Emily Blunt ("The Girl on the Train," "Into the Woods") in Disney's upcoming sequel.

It is also known that Ben Whishaw ("The Danish Girl," "Skyfall") and Emily Mortimer ("Cars 2," "Scream 3") are signed to play the Banks children and Meryl Streep ("Into the Woods," "Mamma Mia!") is among the cast as well. It is uncertain whether or not Andrews and Van Dyke will appear in the film, but Van Dyke has exclaimed a might.

5. "The Incredibles 2," June 21, 2019

Not much has been released on the sequel that has been heavily awaited for twelve years now. What can be confirmed, is that Brad Bird, writer and director of the first film, will once again write and direct the story of a family of superheroes in Disney Pixar's "The Incredibles 2."

There is still quite the wait until these movies' anticipated debuts, but we always have their predecessors to watch and sustain us until then.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
