Dream big princess, this is Disney's new slogan for how girls can look up to the Disney Princesses as role models. Many people think that Disney Princesses are not good role models and they only teach girls to be pretty and find true love. In reality, each princess has her own reason why she is a role model that girls should look up to.

1. Snow White - Optimism

Snow White is optimistic even when she is wearing rags and her life is ruled by her evil step-mother. She believes that no matter what her prince will come and love her. She is optimistic about the dwarfs and trusts them enough to live with them.

2. Cinderella- Courage and Kindness

Cinderella is kind to her step-mother and step sisters even when they are nasty to her. She has the courage to not listen to them and go to the ball so she can live out her dreams. Without this courage she would have never met Prince Charming.

3. Aurora - Believing in True Love

When Aurora is alone in the forest with just her "Fairy" godmothers she believes that her true love will come and sweep her off of her feet. She keeps this close to her heart and it comes true.

4. Ariel- Adventurous

Ariel shows that you need to be adventurous and get out of your comfort zone. Go see and try new things because you never know where life will lead you.

5. Belle- Compassion

Belle shows that you need to put others first. You need to have compassion for them even when they may be rude or mean to you.

6. Jasmine- Standing Up For Yourself

Jasmine shows those around her that she is her own person and not some prize to be won. She knows what she wants and she will show others that she can do things for herself.

7. Pocahontas- Racial Equality

Pocahontas shows that everyone is the same no matter what they may look like on the outside and that everyone is connected somehow.

8. Mulan- Gender Equality

Mulan shows girls that they can do anything that boys do. They can get messy, they can fight like a man and they can prove that they are are great as boys are.

9. Tiana- Hard Work

Tiana shows girls that as long as they put their mind to something and work hard they can complete it. She shows that dedication is an amazing skill for a girl to have.

10. Rapunzel- Following your Heart and your Dreams

Rapunzel followed her heart and left her tower with Flynn Rider to see all of her dreams come true. She shows girls that their dreams are valid and that following your heart is not a bad thing.

11. Merida- Bravery

Even though Merida did turn her mom into a bear she was brave enough to make things right. She shows girls that bravery is something that is inside of us all but you just have to find it.

12. Anna- An Act of True Love is Not Always a Kiss

Anna learned that true love can be between sisters and that you don't have to have a prince. She shows girls that true love has always been right in front of them and it is their family.

13. Elsa- Family is Everything

Elsa shows girls that your family will be there for you no matter what. You can trust them and they will always love you.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
