Disney Princesses, Meet Downtown Charleston

Every Princess has their favorite bar, here's what the Disney Princess' favorite bars would be if they lived in Charleston, SC.

1. Aurora, Sleeping Beauty

Where do you find Aurora every Monday and Wednesday? At the Silver Dollar, duh. The Dollar is the absolute perfect place for Aurora because it's a dark enough hole for her to hide from Maleficent and her parents (since she's not supposed to leave the tower ya know??). A night at the Dollar for Aurora almost always results in her blacking out and probably fall asleep on the bar, which is normal protocol at the Dollar.

2. Elsa and Anna, Frozen

When Elsa and Anna go out downtown together, they go to Public House (RIP O'Malley's). This is the go-to place for the Frozen duo, because Anna has no problem getting in with her fake. Meanwhile, Anna also has the comfort of knowing her sister, Elsa, has her back when it comes to all those under-covers too.

3. Pocahontas

After being drawn in by the earthy leaf in the Mynt logo and dollar drinks, you can find Pocahontas at Mynt every Thursday. Pocahontas absolutely loves the outdoor patio in the back. After all, it's the perfect escape to tune back in with all the colors of the wind. *cue the song*

4. Ariel, The Little Mermaid

Ariel absolutely loves Club NV. The music and lights are so loud and crazy, all you'd need is a pair of legs- which luckily for Ariel that's all she's got (thx sm Ursula).

5. Cinderella

Cinderella spends her rowdy nights away from all the balls and her evil step sisters at Trio. Just like how Prince Charming needed the make sure the shoe fit, Cinderella would obviously only goes to the club that you need a key to get into. You do you, Cinderella.

6. Belle, Beauty and the Beast

Belle spends her weekends (and Tuesdays.. yay for MugNight!!) at Midtown. Why is this, do you ask? Midtown is the perfect location for Belle to consistently meet blacked out beasts of frat boys. Her Midtown Mugs also fit in perfectly with the rest of her talking pots and furniture.

7. Snow White

Snow White enjoys frequenting Boone's, solely because it's the only place where her Seven Dwarfs would fit in perfectly amongst all the other little freshmen boys. Dopey also loves the wall murals near the DJ- go figure.

8. Mulan

Mulan finds her home away from home in the comforting bar, Beer Works. There's so many dudes there watching different sports games and drinking beer that it's perfect since Mulan prefers to be one of the guys anyway.

9. Jasmine, Aladdin

Although not a very bar-ish type place, Jasmine spends her nights at Tabbuli's. The Mediterranean vibe plus Hookah bar makes her feel right at home. She can even bring Raja (her tiger) on Saturdays for Brunch.

Christmas Tree
History.com

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
