In case you haven't realized this already, most of the quotes you live by are from the Disney movies you watched growing up. Disney has always helped me stay motivated and inspired to be who I want to be and do what I want to do in life. The "magic" has chased me since I was a child, to today and will continue to do so until the day I pass. Therefore, I decided to share with you all some of my favorite Disney and Pixar quotes that move me the most.

1. "Cinderella" (1950)

Cinderella

"If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true." - Cinderella

From the original princess herself, this quote will always keep you going and believing in yourself to pursue your dreams.

2. "Winnie The Pooh"

Winnie The Pooh

Giphy
"You're braver than you believe and stronger and smarter than you think." —Winnie-the-Pooh

Pooh Bear and friends have always been my childhood favorites. Pooh also always has really wise comments to say (including his friends).

3. "Mary Poppins" (1964)

Mary Poppins

"Open different doors. You may find a you there that you never knew was yours." -Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins has always been the best. She is wise, beautiful, talented and "practically perfect in every way".

4. "The Lion King" (1994)

The Lion King

Giphy
"Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it.. you can either run from it, or learn from it." - Rafiki

From the famous movie "The Lion King," this quote has been inspirational to almost every fan because there is wisdom and strength in it. Also, Rafiki is just a fan-favorite in general.

5. "A Bug's Life" (1998)

A Bug's Life

"Together, even the smallest can achieve the greatest goal." -A Bug's Life

For me personally, this quote that no matter how tall and short you are, no matter how big or small your dreams, you have to chase and achieve your goals in life. Don't let NOONE bring you down!

6. "Lilo & Stitch" (2002)

Lilo & Stitch

Giphy
"Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind... or forgotten." -Lilo

Everyone's favorite quote... because what can you do without family?

7. "The Incredibles" (2004)

EMode

"I never look back, darling. It distracts from the now." -Edna Mode

Shout out to Auntie Edna for being such a strong and independent woman.

8. "Up" (2009)

Up (2009)

"Adventure is Up there!" -Up

I'll never forget how upset I was when I watched this movie for the first time and was already breaking down within the first five minutes. Adventure really is out there guys, so travel the world!! Go to your dream place and make an adventure out of it. Experience is the second best thing to adventure and living a happy life.

9. "Brave" (2012)

Merida - Brave

"Our Fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it." - Merida

I'm totally in love with this movie. Merida really motivates people of all ages to fight for what they want in life no matter who tries to control your fate.

10. Walt Disney

"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." - Walt Disney

Lastly, from the man himself, the quote that I have followed since day one... is to always pursue your dreams.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
