Are you tired of seeing all the articles and posts on your feed about Trump and what stupid thing he may or may not have done today? I know I need a break from all that. There is only so much a person can take of feeling angry all the time about what they are seeing and reading. What's one thing that always gets you in a good mood? For me, it's Disney. So why don't you take a break with these four Disney movies.

1. Moana.

Disney's newest Princess and the first Polynesian Princess at that. Moana is a tale about the daughter of a tribal chief, going against her father's wishes to go beyond their reef. I don't want to give too much of the story away because then you wouldn't have a need to watch it. It's a strong female lead, with no love interest at all during the movie. She is truly the first princess to show young girls that you don't need a man to be great. Plus the music in this one is pretty spot on and I'm obsessed with it.

2. Finding Dory.

Look at how cute she is. Baby Dory is one of the main reasons I personally saw the movie. She's just too cute. BUT one of the other huge draws was to finally learn more about Dory. We finally get to see her past. There are some awesome characters along the way that help Dory remember her past. If you get emotional, I recommend having tissues on hand for this one. While there will be laughs, there will also be tears.

3. Brave.

Another movie with awesome music and a strong female lead. This movie also brings in a different culture: The Scots. Before Brave, all the princess have pretty much followed the Grimm and HCA's tales. European princess (mostly Germany) with one Arabian Princess and a Chinese Princess that isn't really a princess. So it's nice to add another ginger princess to the mix. This movie, the princess doesn't depend on a prince to make her happy. Her tale is about her finding herself and trying to get her family to accept who she is. The movie also stresses trusting your family, even when you're unsure if they can be.

4. The Black Cauldron.

This is an old one. And one that most people may not realize is a Disney movie. While it has darker tones then the Disney movies we are used to seeing today, it's a good watch. This movie had a few Disney movie first. It was the first movie to get a PG rating instead of the normal G, it was also the first to use computer-generated imagery. The tale follows Taran, Hen Wen, Gurgi and Princess Eilonwy to get the black cauldron before the horn-king can make an army of the undead. I had my doubts until I saw this movie. It's definitely the must underrated Disney movie.

Hurry, go watch, and let me know what you think about The Black Caldron!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
