I think we can all agree that when it comes to the box office, Disney rules all. With its new pictures and live-action remakes, there have been plenty of films released by Disney that make our inner children come out and sing with joy. And with all the live-action remakes hitting screens soon—from "Dumbo" to "Aladdin" to "Mulan"—here are seven animated films that Disney seriously needs to bring to life.

1. "The Little Mermaid"

"The Little Mermaid" brought about the Renaissance of Disney films and could very well bring about a new age of live-action remakes as well. With actors already in talks to potentially bring our favorite sea-dwelling characters, "The Little Mermaid" may be splashing into theaters within the next few years.

2. "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"

"The Hunchback of Notre Dame" is a beautiful, underrated Disney movie whose messages of acceptance still ring true today. Luckily, a screenwriter has already been tapped to begin work on a live-action remake for this one, so we might be able to head ~out there~ and see the film soon!

3. "Hercules"

"Hercules" is quite possibly the greatest Disney movie of all time, and that's the gospel truth. Beloved by all, the most famous hero in history is being brought to life through the stage, so why not translate it into a live-action film as well?

4. "Tangled"

All right, I know that "Tangled" is one of the more recent Disney films, but it's such a fan favorite that Disney could be making a very smart decision in bringing it to life. Besides, who wouldn't want to see a live-action Flynn Ryder on screen?

5. "The Emperor's New Groove"

This one might be tough — what with the llamas and everything — but Disney might be pulling the right lever by turning "The Emperor's New Groove" into a live-action film. Its iconic lines and excellent storyline would have us all grooving into the theaters.

6. "The Princess and The Frog"

Another underrated Disney movie, "The Princess and The Frog" would be absolutely outstanding to see come to life. Full of jazz music and beautiful scenery, "The Princess and The Frog" could be hopping into theaters sooner rather than later.

7. "Frozen"

I know what you're thinking: "Frozen" just came out and its sequel is coming out this year. I get that, but what with the success of its Broadway musical, Disney might need to just ~let it go~ and turn "Frozen" into a live-action remake. With all the magic, it'd be sure to be a hit.

Which Disney movie would you want to see become a live-action remake?

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week.
