11 Dynamic Disney Duos

Name a more iconic Disney duo- I dare you.

11 Dynamic Disney Duos

Let's be honest here: we all adore those Disney duos that have inspired us to make our real life friendships just as dynamic (or maybe that's just me). However, if you happen to be one of those people who is also interested in making your friendships just as amazing as those from the Disney movies, I compiled a list of Disney dynamic duos to provide inspiration. If you find a dynamic duo from this list that matches your friendship with your best friend, tag them and see what they think.

11. Timon and Pumbaa

Who doesn't adore the lighthearted friendship between Timon and Pumbaa? You and your friend might not dress up and do the hula, but if your friendship is based on laughs these two might represent your friendship best.

10. Woody and Buzz Lightyear

While their friendship started off fairly rocky, they became each other's saviors and heroes in times of desperate need. Maybe your best friend started out as an enemy and transformed into the person you can count on no matter what.

9. Lilo and Stitch

Sometimes we struggle to fit in, just like both Lilo and Stitch. Maybe your friendship breaks the typical friendship mold, making your bond even more special. Or maybe your best friend is in your ohana (family), in which case, these two apply to you as well.

8. Mike and Sulley

Did you and your best friend meet in college like Mike and Sully did and become each other's support systems as they made it through life? Would you have nothing if you didn't have your best friend?

7. Lumiere and Cogsworth

Maybe one of you is a little more serious or a little bit of a worrier than the other. That's totally fine because, in this friendship, the two balance each other out like yin and yang.

6. Marlin and Dory

Are you a tad bit forgetful and always needing reminders like Dory does? Does your best friend keep you on task and focused? If so, the friendship between Marlin and Dory might exemplify your friendship.

5. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet

Similar to Lumiere and Cogsworth, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet balance each other out with their Type A and Type B personality differences, but that doesn't stop them from an inseparable friendship like no other.

4. Hercules and Pegasus

Have you been friends since birth or early childhood? Does your best friend always look out for you and have your best interest at heart? Would they go into battle for you?

3. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum

Sometimes we're all Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum- we're so similar that we argue about pointless things which only further cements our friendship. Maybe your best friend is just like your twin and together you create confusion between who's who.

2. Mickey Mouse and Pluto

This might apply best if your pet is your best friend, but this is for the friendships where your best friend always picks you up when you're down.

1. Carl and Russell

Is there a large age gap in your friendship? That's the nice thing about friendships- age doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, we all like to be young at heart.

And maybe you and your best friend share the qualities of more than just one of these friendships- that's just part of the magic.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
