Apparently, Spring has decided to take a vacation this year and will not be showing up for her annual appearance. Winter; however, seems to be putting in overtime, forcing us inside with frigid temperatures, and yes, snow in April. That being said, if you’re going to be stuck indoors, you might as well make use of your time and go back and watch some classic Disney films that need to be seen multiple times throughout your life.

1. Lilo and Stitch

In my opinion, this is the greatest Disney movie of all time. It teaches you about love, family, and friendship while simultaneously focusing how to properly treat others. If you’re looking for a heartwarming story about a misfit, this is the movie of choice.

2. Moana

Although it is relatively new and not necessarily a classic, Moana is Disney’s version of girl power. If you’re looking to be inspired and motivated while also hearing some great tunes, then this is the film for you.

3. Peter Pan

We’re always wishing to be children again. Times were so easy. You woke up, ate some sugar-filled cereal and then ran around the neighborhood causing trouble for hours. Wouldn’t it be so wonderful to go back? Well, with Peter Pan, you can fly away to Neverland and re-live those good times.

4. Snow White

It would not be a Disney collection without the classic Snow White. Enjoy the adorable dwarfs and the loving princess as she fights off the evil queen. I mean, who doesn’t love another tale of good defeating evil?

5. Lady and the Tramp

You cannot have a list of Disney films without animals. For all of the dog lovers out there, this is the movie for you. Enjoy a love story of two fine pups and of course spaghetti!

These are just five of the countless Disney classics. They never fail to disappoint with their wonderful stories of good defeating evil, the bonds of love, and of course, cute creatures. No matter what you decide to watch on these chilly spring nights, you will not disappointed with the timeless work of Walt Disney and those who continue to uphold his vision.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
