Cheer Practice As Told By High School Musical

From bows to back tucks and full ups to full outs, there is no feeling quite like the roller coaster of emotion that you experience during cheerleading practice in competition season.

You arrive at the gym and walk into practice super confident.

You start stretching and hear your coach say you will be going full out today.

So you start warming up and mentally preparing.

And you feel amazing because your stunt group got it on the first try.

But it's a bad tumbling day and your coach asks why you can't land the pass that you landed yesterday. So you just look at them like...

When you finally land it, you're super happy because you can still flip.

But super sad because of full out.

And when you finish the routine, you know you could do so much better than that.

But you are still happy because you finally get a water break!

During which your coach gets annoyed because they see your teammate checking Instagram.

When you get back, your coach says you won't have to do any more full outs if this one hits.

And you're totally killing this routine until right at the end when you watch someone fall.

You just look at them like...

And you remember that could have been the last full out.

But you also remember it's a team effort and will accept the conditioning that comes with falling.

And halfway through conditioning your coach is like...

But you're like...

And when it's finally over, full out.

So you give your team a pep talk.

And you need a little motivation too so you imagine how pretty a Worlds ring would look on your finger.

And when your music starts, you're all killing it.

Your coach tells your team that the routine looked amazing and you all just stand there like...

You end practice with a big huddle and you couldn't be more proud to be a part of such an incredible team.

And you leave the gym knowing that you love cheerleading and your team. Overall, you know that this season is going to be unforgettable.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
