Disney Channel Original Movies We Should All Remember

Our childhood was built by a number of things. We always talk about what we used to wear and the things we used to say, but most importantly, we will always remember running to the TV every time we heard the words, “Let’s watch a Disney Channel Movie."

Our childhood wouldn’t be the same without these unforgettable Disney Channel Original Movies, and we should all make an effort to bring them back.

Pixel Perfect

Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century

Smart House

Motocrossed

Stuck in the Suburbs

Get A Clue

Brink

Johnny Tsunami

Phantom of the Megaplex

Don’t Look Under The Bed

Model Behavior

Gotta Kick It Up

My Date With A President’s Daughter

Thirteenth Year

Quints

Eddy’s Million-Dollar Cook-off

Cheetah Girls

Cadet Kelly

Double Teamed

Ultimate Christmas Present

When Disney Channel counted down the days until the premiere of the "DCOM," we counted down with them.

But what made us so excited for these movies?

We were always jealous of Loretta in "Pixel Perfect" for her ability to do anything at the press of a button. We definitely started saying “Zetus Lapetus” after we saw "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century." We all wanted to date Protozoa, even with his frosted-tipped hair. We wanted to have our own walls that doubled as screens for S-Club's seven music videos after we watched "Smart House."

"Motocrossed" taught our entire generation that girls could do things just as well as boys could. After watching "Stuck In The Suburbs," we all wanted Jordan Cahill to perform an impromptu concert to save our town landmark. "Get A Clue" fueled all of our hopes and dreams of becoming a spy ... and we all wanted Brenda Song’s outfits.

"Brink" and "Johnny Tsunami" were our first crushes as tweens. "Phantom of the Megaplex" and "Don’t Look Under The Bed" were the scariest movies we had seen in our lives. We all wanted to find our long-lost model twin and switch lives with her after we saw "Model Behavior."

"Gotta Kick It Up" made us want to shout “Si se puede” every five minutes. We all wanted to have that pink velvet dress in our closet after we saw "My Date With the President’s Daughter." As if we didn’t already, "Thirteenth Year" made us want to be Mermaids. Even though we fought every day with our own siblings, "Quints" made us want to have MORE siblings … five baby brothers and sisters, to be exact.

We re-created the fried chicken with cereal after we watched "Eddy’s Million-Dollar Cook-off." "Cheetah Girls" caused a spike in the sale of cheetah-print jump suits, and we all wanted to start our own singing group after it came out. Hillary Duff in "Cadet Kelly" made all of us want to be enrolled in a really cool military school. "Double Teamed" showed us that staying true to who you are is more important than trying to be cool at a new school … and we all wanted to have our own weather machine to make it snow after we watched "Ultimate Christmas Present."

No matter what you liked about it, or why you watched it, there will always be a Disney Channel Movie that changed your life.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
