Back in the day, there was one title screen that could cause every kid in America to jump off of the couch and cheer. It would draw our attention immediately and keep it for about two hours, which is longer than a lot of activities could do at our varying young ages. This famously adored title screen was the introduction for the Disney Channel original movies. Now, let us look at some of our favorite movies that accompanied that blessed image.
1. "Halloweentown"
This movie made every October so much more exciting. During that glorious month, we were not only allowed to trick-or-treat, but we also received the privilege of watching this cinematic masterpiece.
2. "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century"
I can hear the conversations in the distance that girls had about how cool pigtails were after watching this.
3. "Smart House"
I was not sure whether I wanted this house, or I was terrified of it.
4. "Pixel Perfect"
This movie had an amazing soundtrack that I still find stuck in my head today. "Notice Me" was my favorite song for a long time.
5. "Stuck in the Suburbs"
Isn't it every girl's dream to accidentally acquire a famous singer's cellphone and control his life?
6. "Cadet Kelly"
Hillary Duff rocked military school!
7. "Jump In!"
Corbin Bleu and Keke Palmer made jump-roping the coolest that it had ever been.8. "The Cheetah Girls"
This movie became extremely popular at such a fast rate. My friend and I used to pretend that she was Chanel and I was Dorinda.
9. "Camp Rock"
I had never felt so defeated as when Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas did not end up kissing at the end of the first "Camp Rock".
10. "High School Musical"
Well, of course. I couldn't not throw this essential component of my childhood into this article! I'm soaring, flying...
All of these movies were absolutely fantastic and I loved seeing them pop up on my television screen. Well, now I need to go have a nostalgic movie marathon!
