Your Disney Channel Dream Playlist

Disney Channel gave us some of our favorite songs. From Miley and Hannah Montana to the Jonas Brothers and Demi, Disney Channel introduced us to our middle school jams. Here is a list of my top 20 Disney Channel songs. Enjoy the heartbreak, girl power, self-love, and all-around fun times that will take you back to your pre-teen years.

1. "Potential Breakup Song"

You were too young to experience a breakup like this one, but that didn't stop you from singing your heart out.

2. "7 Things"

Again, you were probably a little too young to know about such heartbreak but that didn't stop you from crying along with Miley.

3. "Nobody's Perfect"

"Everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days." – Me, when I look back at the style choices I made in middle school.

4. "Beautiful Soul"

Jesse made us all feel beautiful, bless him.

5. "Burning Up"

The JoBro era was in full swing when this song came onto the scene.

6. "Send It On"

Miley, Nick, Demi, Joe, Selena and Kevin... What more could you ask for?

7. "Push It To The Limit"

Corbin made sure that not only would we be singing High School Musical songs all day, but now we would be walking around with a song about intense jump-roping stuck in our heads.

8. "SOS"

Because what's a list of throwback songs without more than one Jonas Brothers song?

9. "Say OK"

If this song wasn't already beautiful enough, they had to go and add Zac into the music video. Well played Disney, well played.

10. "Wake Up"

Pro Tip: Never make this song your alarm. You will regret it. Nonetheless, it is still a jam.

11. "Everything Is Not What It Seems"

Singing along with Selena was a highlight of every "Wizards of Waverly Place" episode.

12. "One and the Same"

They were your friendship goals before you knew what friendship goals were.

13. "Who Says"

When middle school got a little too hard and you were feeling down, Selena always knew what to say.

14. "La La Land"

When you got tired of feeling like an outsider you could always belt out this song with Demi.

15. "True Friend"

Even if it was a little cheesy, you couldn't help but serenade your BFF with this song.

16. "This Is Me"

Pretending you could sing half as well as Demi was the best part of playing this song.

17. "Introducing Me"

Memorizing all the lyrics for no other purpose than singing it as fast as possible with all of your friends was the best part of this one.

18. "Breaking Free"

Singing both Troy and Gabriella's part by yourself took some serious talent.

19. "We Got the Party With Us"

Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brother? Could there be a better combination?

20. "Drama Queen (That Girl)"

It was Lindsey Lohan's prime for sure.

May we never forget the magic of Disney Channel hits.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Sister | Brother Style - Word Press

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
