Disney is always a great time.

When you're six, you don't think you've ever seen a place so amazing and magical with all of your favorite characters. When you're 13, it's cool to go on the rides and adventure around in a place where you can still be a kid. When you're 18, it's about meeting new people and going to a place anywhere that isn't you're hometown.

But something different happens when you go to Disney as an adult...

1. You see the amazement on others' faces

Being in Disney is magical, but there's nothing like looking around you when the fireworks are going off over the castle in Magic Kingdom, or seeing a child see her favorite princess for the first time. You notice the joy Disney brings other people and you realize that this place is amazing because of the wonderment and magic it had for those around you.

2. You can drink around the world

Yes, this should be the top reason to enjoy Disney as an adult, but it's more than just getting drunk with your friends. Walking around the world and enjoying yourself (yes, while drinking) is so much cooler because you get to see these different countries and how well Disney incorporates those cultures in to this one park. Epcot is amazing because you can walk from China to Canada and actually feel the difference and essence of those countries. Besides, the drinks are just the cherry on top.

3. You can relive your childhood - and no one judges you

You can run up to Buzz or Woody and not feel ashamed for acting like a child for even a second. You can go on a child's ride and watch shows that are meant for kids but still feel enjoyment and laugh at them. It's incredible how this world brings you back to your past, makes you appreciate it so much more than you ever did when you were a kid, and brings you the joy you had when you were a kid experiencing it for the first time.

4. You're old enough to walk the parks

Okay, so being dragged around in a stroller and napping whenever you want might have been nice, but being on your own and old enough to walk the park and spend the whole day in a park has its perks. You don't miss as much, you get to ride all of the rides (sometimes more than once) and you get to see everything - truly everything. Plus, no one freaks when you want to do something by yourself because you're old enough to do it and get back to your group in one piece.

5. You get to appreciate what Disney is on a whole new level

You get to see how they created this whole other world. You get to experience it through a whole new lens and you get to appreciate it for what it is and what its creators did so many years ago. The engineering behind Disney, the worlds they create, the magic they do, is breathtaking and incredible to witness. The amount of hours and work that go into the shows, the rides and the creation of what we perceive and the worlds we encounter must be grueling. So when you see it as an adult, you appreciate it so much more than you did growing up, playing in this new world.

Disney is always a good idea - but it's even better when you go back and enjoy it as an adult. Grab your ears and have some fun and don't forget to always believe in the magic of Disney. It's truly one of a kind.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
