Why I Dislike Snow

Just a few reasons why snow is annoying.

Why I Dislike Snow

1. It is cold

The cold is the worst part about snow. If you get wet, you get cold. This equals a miserable day out.

2. It is hard to drive through

Snow makes driving in the winter really hard. If you try to turn some corners, you fishtail. If you are driving where it is not plowed, it feels like you are trying to drive through a snowy field. It is icy and driving down hills is a nightmare.

3. It makes life difficult

I miss the days when you could run outside barefoot or just hop in the car without having to brush all the snow and ice off. I mean, you could run outside barefoot unless you want to get frostbite on your feet.

4. The ground is completely covered

Say goodbye to the rolling hills of grass or fields to play sports on. Everything you own is covered in white and if you live in WNY, there is a lot of snow to in general. it is WNY afterall.

5. The sun reflects off of it making it hard to see

I have sensitive eyes, and when I am trying to play outside or drive I can barely see when the sun reflects off of the snow. I like the sun, I just hate not being able to see.

As much as I may dislike snow, it does have some advantages. It is fun to ride snowmobiles and snowboard, and let’s be real. Making doughnuts in a snowy parking lot is pretty fun if I do say so myself.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
