It isn't Halloween yet, but you can still jam out to some creepy tunes.

Halloween is fast approaching, and nothing gets you into the spirit like a spooky playlist. However, some people don't like hearing "This is Halloween" or "Monster Mash" on a loop for 24 hours. In order to avoid annoying those who aren't as pumped about Halloween as you are, here are some subtly spooky songs to play during pre-Halloween October.

1. "She Wolf" by Shakira

Every girl needs to let the beast out sometimes, and what better way than dancing to Shakira's funky beats?

2. "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC

For those more into rock and the open road, AC/DC has got your haunted road trip covered.

4. "The Monster" by Eminem ft. Rihanna

Personally, I wouldn't want to be friends with a monster under my bed, but you do you, Eminem.

5. "(Don't Fear) the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult

He looks like he could be nice... right?

6. "Disturbia" by Rihanna

The perfect song for dancing in the dark.

7. "Heads Will Roll" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs

After a long, hard day, there's nothing like singing "off with your head" over and over.

8. "Ghostbusters (Not Afraid)" by Fall Out Boy ft. Missy Elliott

A new take on an old classic that will have you ready to bust any ghost.

9. "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder

Another dose of freaky funk about everything supernatural, brought to you by good ol' Stevie.

10. "Ghost Town" by Adam Lambert

Perhaps Adam is in a ghost town because everyone was scared of his creepy shoulder shimmy.

11. "Heathens" by Twenty One Pilots

You never know what the person standing next to you is thinking, and maybe that's a good thing.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
