Happiness is something that carries a lot of nuances, emotions, wishes, victories and desired tops in one word. There is no doubt that happiness has a totally different character for each person. If we think globally, it is obvious that for the average American happiness is a successful career, stability, health, opportunities. For some people, it's much simpler. For example, a child's happiness can be just in the sweet bite of ice cream. Here, we see that happiness is not something that can be submitted in the form of a typical formula for each living creature. As for me, happiness is the simplest thing in the whole world. I feel myself happy every single day. I just need to wake up, stretch in my bed, and realize that another sunny day begins, I am alive and while I can see the world through these eyes — everything is possible. It's clear that happiness is to live. It's the basis, but our life is so colorful and bright that I want to talk about each single shade that makes me happy in it. Hopefully, I'll inspire you and you find the same happiness in life.
I think of poems when I remember good memories in my life. When I remember the first time I got an A on a paper, I wrote a poem about it. When I first saw the "Star Wars" series, I wrote a paper on warfare. My biggest passion in life is going out and capturing new memories with friends and family, and then later on writing it down on a piece of paper. Perhaps I was a poet in another lifetime or maybe a book author, but I do enjoy documenting life on paper and giving it to future generations. When I lost my first baby teeth, I wrote on a book my mom gave me and somehow the toothache was bearable. Life seems easier with literature in my life. I'm a person who appreciates social interaction and humanity at large and I believe in capturing the essence of life in material such as poems, which perpetuates my life long before am out of this world? When it comes to poems, the idea of memories and human emotions transcends human understanding towards the realm of that which is divine. Think about describing the first time your mom said she was proud of you in words. “She held me tight and whispered, 'My son you bring out the best in me. Like how pressure and molten lava hardens rock into diamonds, you make life worth living.'" Capturing such moments in something as simple as a poem makes me happy.
I always believe that happiness starts from within the individual and therefore it is important that every person finds what makes him or her happy. This is because you cannot teach someone to be happy, and neither can you force a person to be happy. One just has to determine what makes him happy and keep doing what makes him happy to sustain the happy mood. Personally, I would say that having the internal contentment with everything around me makes me happy. This is the contentment that makes me realize that despite all the challenges that I go through, there is always a bright side to all that is happening. I just have to look and see the bright side of every bad encounter.
