When you unleash your mind to new and compelling ideas, you engender the discovery of intellect and passion and the joining together of the two. Hence, finding ways to be much more creative through science and arts will help you to enrich yourself and provide you with inspiration for the future. When you explore new designs, cultures, principles, you are manifesting an appreciation that you have for life, beauty, and innovation. The common goal is to live life to the fullest, and it is made possible if you are able to let your guard down and be receptive to new adventures and growth. At times people tend to get stuck in certain personas and thoughts where the monotony that comes with the usual workweek tends to hinder your access to imagination, novelty, and spontaneity. When you shake things up a little in creative and artistic ways, you pave the way for personal development and enlightenment.
Here are some ways that you can take a break from the routine, which makes you clog up your feelings and emotions and let it out a little bit:
Painting
The feeling of holding a collection of colors in your hands, and having a blank white canvas in front of you is extremely empowering. The way you move your hands, what you think about, is all that would be displayed on the blank white paper. You can either be very literal with your painting or you can be abstract with it. Looking at the painting that somehow perfectly describes your current emotions will make you feel like you are talking to a friend who somehow gets your conversation. This is especially important when you are not the kind of person who likes to share their feelings with anyone.
Doodling
This is especially great when you are someone who suffers from a lot of anxiety. You must remember being scolded by your teachers for doodling in class, but this could be something that would help you out a lot. Taking out 5 to 10 minutes in the middle of your tasks and responsibilities would help you take your mind off of whatever your current situation is. Sometimes things tend to get out of hand, and you need a little breather, a freshening up of the mind to be able to think properly and come with a different angle of approaching things. Hence doodling is a harmless, safe space for you to let go of what might be bugging you, involving both your mind and body.
Painting and the arts is something that Peter Clossick has used as a professional artist to get some assistance with the environment that he faced in post-war London. Born in 1948, Clossick was brought up in surroundings that were mentally and emotionally still tied to World War 2. This created in him a sense of existential theory about connecting everyday experience with ultimate questions about the meaning and value of human life that he still displays through his work. Before becoming a professional artist, he designed shoes until he enrolled in Camberwell School of Arts. His work has been featured in many exhibitions and publications. He has also received numerous awards for his painting as well.
