College is the time when most of us choose and shape our personalities into who we want to be for the rest of our lives. Who are you?

The Social One

We all have that one friend who always seems to hang with the coolest crowds, know everyone on campus, and spend every weekend (and sometimes every night) at some type of party. This is The Social. We often envy The Social because they seem to live a care free life full of thrills and have the highest follower counts we have ever seen. However, this envy would be short-lived if we saw their grades!

The Silent One

This student often goes unnoticed and are never even thought of as someone to invite to a date function or party. This gives them more time for their studies. But, while The Silent always has stellar grades, they are often disappointed in their lack of social life. Even so, The Silent has a very successful future in the making.

The Dedicated One

The Dedicated is often the person considered the "mom" or "dad" of the group. They somehow manage to juggle just about everything, on the surface. However, while they maintain a mild level of success in every category possible, they often find themselves to be tired or hiding how stressed they are.

The Doesn't Care About Anything Person

Out of every type of college student, this has to be the most disappointing. The Doesn't Care is the person who you always look at and think to yourself "how have their parents not made them go home yet?" They have decided to give up on every little productive aspect of their life. They can often be found playing video games and skipping class. DON't BECOME A PERSON THAT DOESN'T CARE!

The Organized One

Have you seen the person with a color-coded planner, perfectly divided notebook, and always wearing clean clothes? This is The Organized. This person tends to focus a lot on scheduling their busy lives and they usually do very well in school because of it. However, due to an overlap in scheduling time, they can frequently become detached from the social scene.

The Pro

This is the person that everyone envies. No matter what they are taking on, whether it's having a bomb social life or maintaining above a 3.8 with ease, The Pro can handle it all. They never seem to get tired and almost always end up having more success in the workforce than anyone else.

But don't worry if you are another kind of student, as long as you aren't The Don't Care, you are well on your way to becoming the pro!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

1018
Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
