With this self-isolating, quarantine, stay-at-home order, there have been a lot of days of just sitting around the house with nothing to do and nowhere to go. And watching TV or scrolling on social media has gotten so boring that people are trying to find any way they can to entertain themselves. So, I've compiled a list of six different activities that you can do if you are bored at home:
1. Tie-Dye
While this might seem childish, it is something fun you can do if you are quarantined alone with family or friends. Get an old shirt and have fun designing a new piece to add to your closet.
2. Organize
Go through your closet and find stuff that you don't wear anymore so it can be donated. Clean up your room and maybe even rearrange your furniture to get a fresh start for summer, and considering you spend a lot of time there, it will give you a chance to get a change of scenery without having to go anywhere.
3. Bleach Denim
This is so basic, I know, and it's all over Tik Tok, but it could be so fun! And you can add cool designs with some cookie cutters or by splattering the bleach on the denim. Really personalize them however you want.
4. Plant A Garden
If you have space to plant a garden, this is something that can be really fun and give you a good reason to go outside.
5. Paint
Whether it be walls or a canvas, doing something creative is so good for mental health.
6. Bake
Bake a cake, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and so much more! Whatever it is, you will have fun making them and then have a yummy treat as an end result. You can even decorate them with fondant, icing, and sprinkles.
