Many of us have skipped school. And many of us say "skipped or ditched" for missing a day of school. Have you ever stopped to think about if other states or countries use the same term "skipped or ditched" or if they use a different term? Well here you go, this is just a few different terms people use instead of skipped or ditched.

Austrailia

Wagging, jigging

England UK

Bunking off, skiving, wagging, ditching

North east England, UK

Twagging

New Zealand 

Wagging, ditching, skipping

South Carolina, USA

Skipping, playing hookie, having senioritis

I know in Missouri we also use the excuse "senioritis" for those that are seniors (in 12th grade) and skip school.

Utah, USA

In Utah they say "sluffing"
