5 Different People To Go To The Movies With

We all love to go to the movies with our friends, but there is always one friend that you are a little iffy to ask to go with you. They could be loud chewers, laughs at anything, talkers, snorers, or texters. There are all different types of people to watch movies with, just pick a movie wisely and hopefully you will be okay.

Robbie the loud chewer gets a large popcorn and a Slurpee. He grabs a whole hand full of popcorn and chews like a cow during the whole movie. He drinks his Slurpee all the way to the end making sucking straw noises. You know everyone can hear him because you are watching a romantic movie and subtle music is playing in the background. You just want to tell him to stop eating the popcorn, but you stop yourself because you feel bad, maybe he has a cavity and chewing loud feels better?

Next is Cracking Up Carly -- she laughs at everything. You know she is a laugher so you take her to a drama movie with what you thought there was nothing to laugh at. And there she goes again, cracking up at every little word. She even starts snorting laughing and hitting you because she thinks it’s so funny. It’s not! Nothing is funny in a drama movie. Now her laughing is turning into crying and she can’t even catch her breath, she is attracting more attention than the movie. Just great!

Everyone knows Chatty Cathy, she is you’re really good friend so you had no choice but to invite her to the movies with you. But you know from the car ride it’s going to be rough. You get into the movie and she is talking through all the good trailers and already made plans with you to see four of them. Turns out you are going to be sick those days, cough cough. She has a comment about everything going on in the movie. You are politely telling her to shh, but she keeps talking. Maybe next time I will bring ear plugs, sorry Chatty!

Texting Tina texts the whole time you are in the movies. She doesn’t even notice all the commercials that say turn off your phone because she is on her phone while they are going on. Also her brightness is on the highest degree, and it's blinding. There is no possible way someone can text you that much that you don’t even know what happened in the movie. It feels like you’re in the movie all alone. Turn of your phone, Texting Tina!

Snoring Steve sleeps through the movie. He snores right in your ear and tries to lay his head on your shoulder. You guys are not that close, so it’s pretty awkward. ZzzZZZZ! Snoring Steve distracts you from watching a movie. You pick a movie time that is during the day and he still falls asleep, you can’t win with him. He sleeps, snores, and tries to cuddle. Maybe next time try to give him coffee before the movie, it might help!

The key to picking a good person to going to the movies with you is going alone. No one is perfect and you will find something wrong with everyone. So laugh it off and have fun!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
