10 Differences Between A Boy And A Man

Every woman will have plenty of experiences with guys and romance. At some point (coming from a woman’s perspective) these experiences help you grow as a person. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is how to spot the difference between a boy and a man. While being a 22 year old college student, I don’t have time to play games or deal with immaturity.

These are tips in helping you realize if you’re dealing with Mr. Right or this generation's label of a f**k boy

1. A man knows what he wants; a boy “doesn’t believe in labels.”

2. A man will talk to you at any point in the day, a boy only hits you up at night.

3. A man takes responsibility for the things he does; a boy will make every excuse in the book.

4. A boy will make you feel like an option; a man will make you feel like a priority.

5. A boy is only interested in beauty and sex appeal; a man appreciates you on a physical, emotional and personal level.

6. A man plans for the future as a boy focuses on what he wants now.

7. A boy is afraid with how you look to his friends; a man could care less what people think.

8. A man will plan a real date with you; a boy is more interested in “Netflix and Chill."

9. A boy makes rash decisions; a man understands the concept in having priorities.

10. A boy plays games. A man doesn’t.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.

The dynamics of any friend group are usually determined by the personalities which make it up. Chances are, while personalities may overlap, each person in your friend group holds his or her own place. It is the differences which bring the groups together and keep them functioning. No matter how functionally dysfunctional your friend group may be, if you're anything like me, you feel absolutely blessed to have found such a wonderful group of humans to call "your people." Here is what your friend group might look like if they were Disney princesses (and that wasn't just a thing you all pretended in your heads):
