There is nothing better than opening up a crisp bottle/can of Diet Coke. The satisfaction of the cool, bubbly soda can't compare to anything else on this planet. Some may say our addiction is unhealthy, but I disagree. Loving Diet Coke is a way of life and here are eight things that you may relate to if you feel the same.

1. You hate when people tell you that you need to drink more water

You're just helping the planet and conserving water.

2. You will not go to certain restaurants because they serve Pepsi products

Taco Bell, Panera, KFC, Little Ceasar's...the list goes on.

3. You can't stand it when people say it's bad for you

It's not their job to tell you what you should or shouldn't be doing...right?

4. You understand when 3 p.m. rolls around it's time for a serving

Or 1 p.m...maybe 8 a.m.

5. You can easily taste the difference between fountain, bottled, or can

And you have your personal ranking of favorites.

6. You question when someone says they don't like it

You don't understand how someone could hate something that practically feels like family to you.

7. You make trips to the grocery store just because you are low on your supply

And you know the price differences and best deals in your surrounding area.

8. You instantly connect with other Diet Coke lovers

Finally, someone else understands!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
