My favorite kind of water is when there is healthy benefits infused inside. It's easy to make before going to work or school, just doing it the night before and leaving it until morning gives you the full effect of the antioxidants. Detox water or infused water has many healthy properties that your body needs throughout the day, especially water but with fruits it's even better! Some of the benefits to drinking this is, belling slimming, bloating, energy, improved skin, rids the body of toxins and helps suppress cravings.

Why not take a chance and try this out, adding healthy ingredients to your water while helping your body is a plus! Below is how to prepare your water, I like to do this at night before I have school the next day so that the fruit releases it's goodness overnight in the refrigerator. You can also do this in the morning but I like to leave it in the refrigerator for an hour to let the fruit settle and drinking this is also better when very cold!

How to prepare your detox water

  1. Choose your fruits or veggies
  2. Slice your fruit in small sections
  3. Grab your bottle and insert your ingredients

There are definitely so many variations of fruit with veggie combinations that you can add to your water, here are my favorite ingredients that I add to my detox. The pictures below are pictures I took at FIDM for our marketing events class, we had to host an event at school. We named it "Treat Yo Self" and my table had detox water's because we had a healthy/fitness theme. :)

  • Cucumbers - Lemons - Oranges
  • Lemons - Mint Leaves
  • Lemons - Oranges
  • Mint Leaves - Raspberries - Lemons

Those are just my favorite fruits to add into my water! You can even just put lemons only in the water and you will still get same benefits if you like it plain. You can prepare this in any container you would like from mason jars, glass bottle like Voss, or get a bottle that specifically have an insert for you to put your fruit in. I personally bought a bottle that has an insert for you from Blogilates, she was actually the YouTuber that got me into drinking these! She has a video as well explaining what detox water is and her own variation of fruits or veggies, her bottles have inspiring sayings on them too! If you click the picture below, I put the link to buy her bottles on the Blogilaties website, trust me it is worth the investment if you don't like having the fruit in the way of drinking your water. Here is the link to her video as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaJBemiSFYg

Let me know in the comment section below if you try this out! Let's have a healthier life together!
