Dear Pops,
I will never be able to explain how much I love you and appreciate you. You have always done so much for not only me, but everyone around you. You've become a role model to me in not just the way you work, but the life you've lived.
For as long as I can remember, I've always been a daddy's girl (I still love you Ma, but you know Nathan's the mama's boy). You've taught me so much and have given me so much that I'll forever be grateful for. You've provided me with countless memories, chalk-full of knowledge, and a life full of love.
It crazy how fast we grow up, but I'll always remember the nights we'd spend together when Ma was at work, or the Saturdays where we'd run around, build forts, and then take naps where I'd wake up to you watching golf. I'll always remember the daddy-daughter dates we've had (and which we should do again soon). I'll even remember the times you'd brush my hair after a shower, and I'd say "ouch" a thousand times because I disliked it when my hair was brushed. You've always made sure Nathan and I lived the happiest life possible, and you still do to this day.
You will always be one of my biggest role models. Maybe it's because our personalities are so similar, or it's our interest in business, but you will always be someone I look up to. Through your career, you relationships, and your character, you've showed me what it means to be success while humble. You've taught me the value of money, and how to not be frugal, but rather money-smart. You set an example of how to set goals and reach for them. Most importantly, you've showed me how to life a life full of love and happiness.
Through your relationship with Ma and us, you've carved out a pretty darn good life. It's one I aspire to give my future husband and kids. In a society where divorces seem more prominent, you've showed that relationships aren't perfect, but you can't give up. You're always there for us all, and lead the ultimate example of what it means to be a father and husband.
Often times we become consumed in life that we forget to show how much we appreciate each other. I hope you know throughout the year how much I love you and appreciate all you do. Whether it just be a simple hug after work, or a phone call . while I'm at school, I hope those little things remind you of how much I love you. Thank you for all you do, and will always do Dad. I wouldn't be where I am in life without you.
Love,
Your daugter
