Arizona is full of beautiful places that everyone should visit.
Jessica Carnivale

Yes, I was skeptical at first. I grew up going to the beach every summer so went I found out the family vacation was in the desert this year I was a little weary. But wow was I wrong. These past few days have shown me things that I could not have even imagined.

Because I am soon to be a freshman at Arizona State University my family decided to go to Arizona a little early. The past few days I have had the opportunity to travel through Arizona and see some other most beautiful landscapes. These include The Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, and Horseshoe Bend.

Coming from the East Coast, I was shocked to see how different everything is in the West. But different in a good way. It was the first time I've seen a sky full of stars. Seriously, I had no idea how pretty the stars were until I saw them in Sedona, Arizona.

Even though there are no beaches in Arizona we still managed to find one on Lake Powell that was amazing. The water was 80 degrees and you were surrounded by beautiful rock formations. So if you are skeptical like I was, I can guarantee you that you will love a vacation in the desert. I believe that everyone should get to see the desert at least once so give it a try. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Water signs are are emotional, intuitive, and mysterious. Fire signs tend to be passionate, creative, and adventurous. Earth signs are conservative, realistic, and loyal.

Each sign is determined by the relative positions of celestial bodies to ourselves at our moment of birth, which is said to influence our personalities. Find your zodiac GIF below, based on the traits and characteristics provided by each sign.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone does not try to help their self before asking others. How can someone else be expected to help you if you do not first do that yourself? I'm all about helping those that need it when the time comes, however whenever someone does not even attempt to help him or herself first then that becomes a huge problem. As we all have learned, people tend to take advantage of us in one way or another. I am sure we all read this short story when we were younger and it follows that same principle:
