Anything and everything. Things you've been wanting to read for a while or new things you just found on the shelves of the library.

Hangout with friends

Surround yourself around people who make you feel better. Friends who build you up and make you laugh.

Eat

Sometimes it's the last thing you want to do, but it's important to take care of yourself. Some things might make depression worse, such as caffeine, so pay attention to what affects your body.

Go for a walk

Go for a walk around the block and get some fresh air, this might help clear your mind.

Go out

Sometimes being cooped up in the house can worsen your depression, so go out and enjoy yourself.

Do some self care

Do something that makes you feel good. Try taking a bubble bath or doing a face mask.

Exercise

Exercising has been said to help with depression. Don't hurt yourself, but do something that gets your blood flowing.

Get up

Depression will make you lay in bed all day. So beat it, get up, get yourself moving. It's crazy how much better you'll feel once you but yourself into motion.

Clean

Clean the house. Organize your closet. Do something productive that will make you feel like you accomplished something when you're done. It'll make you feel better.

Take it easy

Don't try to do a hundred things at once. Take it one step at a time. You don't have to complete everything right now, so do your tasks one at a time.

Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
