I Am A Democrat And I Am Now Pro-Life

I was a fierce pro-choice advocate, until I saw March for Life

Cherish Lives

As you grow up, so does your views. That is what happened to me. After seeing tons of March for Life tweets, pictures, and stories, I decided to sit down and think about the way I view abortion.

As a 17 year old teenager, it is easy to get caught up and be easily influenced. I argued with my family, my friends, people I have never spoken to on Twitter on the topic of abortion. I would say things like, "The government can not control a woman's body." Things of that nature. I believed that Planned Parenthood was the greatest thing ever for teenage girls. I would argue that, "Out of all the services Planned Parenthood offers, only 3% are abortions!" I was a complete idiot.

After reading some of the various stories related to March for Life, I was confused on what I truly believed in. After thinking, it is my belief abortion should be outlawed unless the case of rape or the mother's health is in danger. I began to think, "How did I not see the facts so clear early before this point?" The only difference between fetuses, babies, and adults is their stage of development. I am here to say I was wrong. Abortion is wrong and should be outlawed.

Some babies die by chance, none should die by choice

And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

Being a music major is not all kicks and giggles. In fact, there are days when I question my sanity and doubt myself as a musician. I know I am not the only one going through the struggle, and so here are 13 GIFs that I know my fellow music majors can relate to...
