On April 2, 2018, I attended the Demi Lovato concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. This concert was postponed due to a blizzard, but it was worth the wait!
This past year I became an even bigger Demi Lovato fan than I already was. Her album "Tell Me You Love Me" is amazing because she is so honest about who she is. Besides her album coming out she also made a documentary "Simply Complicated." This documentary was truly inspiring.
When most people think of Demi Lovato, they think of the Disney Channel movie "Camp Rock." However, since then, she has grown and been through so much. From having depression, becoming addicted to drugs, being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and having an eating disorder she has overcome so much. The experiences she has overcome in her short life inspires so many people who haven't gone through half the stuff she has been.
During the concert, she touched based on the things she has been through which makes it so easy for fans to relate to her and respect her for being so open. No one knows what is going on behind closed doors.
Demi Lovato has fallen and stood back up so many times, which has to be one of the most inspiring things because it's so easy to just stay down. She has opened up her life to the world and it has inspired me and so many other fans.
Listening to her album, there is a rush of emotions I feel every time. This album showed how someone could tell the complete truth and still be loved. This album shows that it's all going to be okay. This album truly inspired me and has helped me during hard times. That is what most artists try to do, but Demi Lovato truly did it and certainly inspires me.
